Moving From Military Confrontation to Peaceful Coexistence with Russia

Saturday, 8:30pm - 10:00pm - Reeser

Workshop Description:  Once again the US and Russia are playing a dangerous game of nuclear brinkmanship which could easily move us into a nuclear confrontation with millions of lives lost.  David has just returned from Russia as part of a citizens diplomacy/peace mission where he met with government leaders, non-governmental organizations, media correspondents and ordinary people. He will share some of his learnings from the trip and together we will explore how we can help move our countries away from military confrontation to real peaceful coexistence.

David has also recently published his memoir, WAGING PEACE: GLOBAL ADVENTURES OF A LIFELONG ACTIVIST and he will share some of the stories from his lifetime of peacemaking and work with nonviolent movements to inspire all of us to believe that we can help build a peaceful and just world. We can help change history.
